We’ve been serving authentic Jalisco-inspired Mexican cuisine on Milmont Drive since 2014 — and summer 2026 is shaping up to be the best season yet.
Located at 1830 Milmont Drive in Milpitas (open 7 AM to 10 PM, every day), we’re the Mexican food choice for Cisco, KLA, Western Digital, and Samsung employees at lunchtime, and the neighborhood’s go-to for everything from street tacos to catered graduation spreads.
What’s Different About De Los Altos
Most “Mexican restaurants” in Silicon Valley are serving a watered-down version of the cuisine. De Los Altos Grill traces its cooking to Jalisco, Mexico — the birthplace of tequila, mariachi, and some of the most distinctive cooking in the country. Our Al Pastor recipe follows the Jalisco tradition. Our corn tortillas are hand-pressed. Our Quesabirria is the real thing: slow-braised beef, melted cheese, and consommé for dipping.

Quesabirria — Our most Instagram-worthy dish and one of the most searched Mexican dishes in the Bay Area. Slow-braised beef in a crispy quesadilla, served with consommé for dipping. Available Tuesdays (Quesabirria Tuesdays), occasionally other days. Check directly.
Regular Suiza — A massive flour tortilla smothered in red enchilada sauce and melted cheese. The heavy hitter.
Shrimp Burrito — A customer favorite. Shrimp, rice, beans, and fresh toppings in a flour tortilla.
Flautas Plate — Four rolled corn tortillas, crispy-fried, with rice, beans, and fresh pico de gallo.
Coctel de Camarón — Mexican shrimp cocktail. A summer refresh that no other restaurant on Milmont Drive can compete with.
Father’s Day at De Los Altos — Sunday, June 15, 2026
Father’s Day at De Los Altos is an easy call: Shrimp Burritos and Asada Tacos for the table, a Quesabirria for Dad if Tuesday’s special is offered, and a round of Chimichangas for the family.
